Say to yourself – “Right, catch it, I’m having a mental panic attack, I’m Catastrophising, these are just thoughts, let them be, it’s ok this happens with panic, it’s normal, if I wait it will pass, let it do it’s worst, refocus, relax stomach, look around, wait..”
Treat it exactly the way you would with a physical panic attack.
