However – it is important to point out that Panic Attacks can occur as part of another disorder.
For example:
If your life was NOT being significantly impaired by any other problem BEFORE panic attacks then you are most likely ONLY dealing with panic attacks / panic disorder
However – if you feel that your life WAS being significantly impaired by some other mental health problem EVEN BEFORE you had your first panic attack then it is recommended that you talk to your doctor or get referred to a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for further assessment.
