Panic Attacks are not your fault

It’s not as if you WANT to feel this way.

The more you hear friends, family and doctors telling you to ‘pull yourself together’ and ‘try to relax’ the more you feel you are to blame for not being able to do so. The truth is, you have been trying SO hard to ‘pull yourself together’ you have unknowingly been ADDING to the problem. This is NOT your fault. You didn’t know.

You are not alone in feeling this way

A great many people feel EXACTLY as you do and a great many people have recovered. Everyone thinks THEIR symptoms are the worst. This could happen to ANYONE at ANYTIME.

It doesn’t matter how long you have been like this.

You are caught in the ‘anxiety cycle’ because you keep misinterpreting what the symptoms mean. But this is just a mistake and even if you have been doing this for a long time it is STILL the SAME mistake. If you had thought for a long time that 2+2=5 it wouldn’t make it any harder to discover that 2+2=4
