• It’s just a ‘tired thought in a tired mind’
• The thought is NOT the problem – it’s a DECOY
• The thought arose because of anxiety
• It is still in my head because of the ‘anxiety cycle’
• It is no different than if a SONG were stuck in my head – would I worry about the LYRICS?
• It’s just a ‘MISTAKE’ I have set in motion myself
• I am giving the thought more importance than it deserves
• I’m not going ‘insane’ or ‘mad’
• My mind does not have a ‘mind of it’s own’
• LOTS of people get this with anxiety
• Understanding and practice WILL dissolve this
• I must LET TIME PASS
• I need to relax TOWARDS the anxiety even slightly
• I have felt this before and never actually lost control.
